Welcome
North Eastern Wisconsin Pleasure Horse Association (NEWPHA) is an association of four Horse Clubs from North Eastern Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Appaloosa Horse Club, Branch River Riders, Shawano Area Horseman's Assocation, and the Trailblazers Riding Club. Each club is an all-around horse club promoting organized equine related events including trail rides, educational opportunities, social networking, and sponsored shows.
Each club hosts a NEWPHA approved open show each year where the participants and horse owners who belong to one of the clubs will earn points toward year end awards. All NEWPHA horse shows are required to follow an approved set of classes to support a year-end awards program. You do not have to be a member of one of the clubs to participate in a NEWPHA Show. However, to earn points through out the year - you must be a member of a NEWPHA club. Points are awarded for 1st through 5th place in all NEWPHA approved classes at each club-sponsored show and the finale show.
The primary function of the North Eastern Wisconsin Pleasure Horse Association (NEWPHA) is to provide direction, regulation, and organization for horse shows in North Eastern Wisconsin. The goal of NEWPHA is to provide a fun, family-oriented, and affordable atmosphere to show and enjoy your horse.
New members are always welcome. Email us at newphahorseclub@gmail.com and we will send your information to a club located in your area to get involved. It's not just about showing, it's about building relationships with your equine friends and people in North Eastern Wisconsin who LOVE horses. Make a difference and get involved in a local horse club!
